Hope is the light that guides us through the night
It shines upon our path and makes it bright
It’s the spark that starts the fire in our hearts
And give us strength to make a brand-new start.

It’s the voice that whispers, „You can do it too…“
And the hand that reaches out to pull us through
It’s the smile that greets us in the morning sun
And the promise of a new day just begun.

Hope is the anchor that keep us ready
In the stormy seas of life so unsteady
It’s the wings that lift us up above the fray
And carries us to a brighter, better day.

So when your heart is heavy and your eyes are dim
Just remember, hope is always whithin
Its the guiding star that will lead you home
And the light that will never leave you alone.
